Doctoral education

Doctoral students enrolled in the doctoral program in Economics must take at least four courses during the first two years of their doctorate. Admittance into the third year is contingent upon having completed all required courses.

These courses must be selected from the list of courses offered by the doctoral program in Economics (see below). However, upon the approval of the thesis director and the head of the doctoral program, student may take one or two courses not featured on this list (at PSL or elsewhere).

Students must register with the secretary of the doctoral program in Economics before enrolling in any courses.
